Sony’s State of Play livestream started off “cold” with the reveal of Monter Hunter World: Iceborne, an expansion to the mega popular Monster Hunter World. The trailer below showcases tons of awesome battles against huge monsters in the snow covered landscape sure to please any Monster Hunter fan! The trailer also showed some story elements and some awesome monster on monster battling. The trailer has also revealed a September 6, 2019 release date with a Jurassic Park T-Rex reference! I think it is safe to assume a crossover between the franchises at this point.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be available as a standard DLC expansion for all current owners of Monter Hunter World. Iceborne will also be available in deluxe versions both physically and digitally with the digital deluxe version containing the Silver Knight layered armor set, 3 gestures, 2 sticker sets, 1 face paint, 1 hairstyle and a room decoration. The physical editions are a little more exciting with the deluxe editions containing both Monster Hunter World and Iceborne on the same disk in a sleek looking steelbook case! A pre-order for either version is also going to net you the Yukumo layered armor set. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be availbale September 6 on PS4 PC and Xbox One!
