The video is labeled Until Dawn Film First Look, right? Okay, just checking. I know it’s ridiculously early, and making assumptions about the Until Dawn movie now is like trying to guess what your lasagna will taste like before it’s even out of the oven. But still, I have some expectations. Scratch that—I have demands.
First and foremost: Wendigos. They better be in this movie, and they better be terrifying. I’m talking nightmare-inducing, “keep the lights on for a week” levels of scary. Now, I respect that the trailer didn’t just throw a Wendigo right in our faces, but can we get a little hint? A shadow? A creepy noise? Anything?
Then there’s the whole "interactive game becoming a movie" thing. Look, Until Dawn is built on the concept of choices. Every decision you make in the game shapes the story, so turning it into a movie feels a bit… counterproductive. It technically works, but you’re missing the point.
Lastly, I gotta say, while this teaser looks like it’s shaping up to be an intriguing horror flick, it’s not screaming Until Dawn to me. So yeah, my expectations aren’t sky-high right now—but hey, it’s early days. Let’s hope they stick the landing because Until Dawn deserves a film adaptation as chilling and memorable as its source material. And, again, Wendigos. Don’t mess this up, Hollywood.
