How To Fixed Out The Washed Out Image In STARFIELD

Starfield is live for Early Access players and while the game plays quite nice and the visuals are very detailed, there are a ton of image quality settings missing including the lack of an FOV slider (luckily we have a temporary fix). Also, as a lot of users on Reddit and other forums are noticing, the image in general has a very drab, washed out look that is killing black levels and details in the gorgeous levels, especially dark interiors. Luckily we’ve come up with a temporary fix until the game is (hopefully) patched.

1 - Download ReShade for the Steam version or ReShade Centralized for the Windows Store version
2 - Install either version and select Starfield.exe
3 - After launching the game, hit the HOME key
4 - Select and enable the following shaders: Levels, Deband, and CAS (Set to 3.0)
5 - Enjoy!

After enabling ReShade and these settings, your game will have more depth, sharpness, and black levels are much better.
