It looks like Tango Gameworks originally had placed the ability to play The Evil Within 2 in First Person Perspective in the game, and PC players have found a way to activate it. Take a look:
So how do you do this if you own the game? Luckily the steps aren't that complicated to accomplish:
Create a shortcut on your desktop and add: +com_allowconsole 1
Start the game from the shortcut
While in game, press the insert key to bring the console
Type in "pl_FPS 1"
If you do that you'll be able to play this game in first person perspective and it will be fully functioning! One has to wonder why Tango Gameworks removed this feature last minute when they had fully completed it, especially when they already have a first-person section of the game. Perhaps they had it squirreled away to later activate as a free update of sorts to roll out when sales start to decline? Regardless of reasoning, if you own this game on PC, you should try it out now and let us know what you think!
