KARDS Expands A Lot With THEATERS OF WAR, A Single-Player Update
The tactical WWI card game is getting solo missions! That’s right, KARDS will be releasing its first single-player update on June 30th. The digital game will be bolstered by the Theaters of War expansion, with five campaigns based on real conflicts from the global struggle.
Each campaign follows one of the five main nations—Britain, Germany, Japan, the Soviet Union, and the USA—through five phases. There are also three different decks available, as well as upgradeable units.
Even though the expansion is slated for release on June 30th, there is a pre-purchase window starting on June 19th, and you can grab all of the campaigns as a bundle for $29.95. Ordering the bundle during this pre-purchase phase will also unlock new elite cards.
Here’s what you’ll get:
All five single-player campaigns
Five missions per campaign with three different deck strategies
Upgradeable units
40 new cards, eight for each of the main nations
New HQs that change the whole play space look and feel
Early access to new Elite cards

A great card game gets some substantial single-player content, so I am ready to jump back in and see what that looks like!
And KARDS is a free-to-play game, so there is nothing stopping you from joining the war!
