Madmind Studios Is Testing Their Limits With All These Upcoming Games

A studio that had a rather public burnout fight with approval ratings when they released their first game has made a complete turn around on their attitude towards how the public and players see their games. From trying to be consumer-friendly to just make anything they want to and pretty much telling you to just not play it if you don’t like it, we have Madmind Studios. If nothing else has shown this to be the case, their announcements this month certainly have.

First up, we have the announcement that they are bringing their first game, Agony, into the VR gaming world. After teaming up with Ignibit, they are hoping to bring more than just an addition to the game with this edition. In fact, they stated that Agony VR will include new gameplay mechanics and gameplay solutions involving motion controllers. No trailers or screenshots have been revealed for this yet, unfortunately.

Next, we have the full intro video for their next upcoming title, Succubus. Featuring details about the story, showing off some of the action, and presenting the main character of the game, a demon named Vydija, this intro video really wraps up everything you need to know regarding this title. Check out the video above and then get your own first impression of the game by trying out the free prologue demo on Steam.

Another title they previously announced is PARANOID. Giving us a look into the lore and a small glimpse into the gameplay with their latest video, we are in for a rough experience. There is still no official release date for this title, but it does already have a Steam page up for interested players to follow. Are you up for an internal hell from the same developers that originally based their games in hell?

Finally, we have the newly announced title, Tormentor! This game is likely to be considered the most brutal of the bunch as players take on the role of a torturer that fights against a growing mental illness. To get more doses of the experimental drug, players will have to show creativity in torturing their victims to gather as many spectators as possible during live-streams on the dark web. Offering more than one game mode in the announcement trailer, this title definitely looks promising for players who can handle the content and it already has a page up on Steam.
