The best selling title of the Mortal Kombat series has just had its first DLC collection pack announced. NetherRealm Studios is featuring the soul-stealing sorcerer Shang Tsung as the face of Mortal Kombat 11’s first Kombat Pack. This pack is going to include multiple new playable characters including the comic book famed special guest Spawn!
While this trailer features the action packed inside of Shang Tsung, it unfortunately doesn’t show us what to expect from Spawn. Hopefully there is a character reveal trailer showing off the gameplay for Spawn later, but for now you can see this hell-of-a-fighter in action first.
I like how they use the classic arcade ninja costumes in his different shape-shifting forms in his different attacks. He is certainly ruthless and looks to be one fighter to be worth learning to use. It’s interesting how they use stolen souls as weapons in his fighting style along with his shape shifting. I look forward to what they end up pulling off with Spawn.
