Narrative Adventure REVENANT HILL Will Release Onto PlayStation Consoles

With the PlayStation showcase came the announcement from Finji that Revenant Hill, a narrative adventure game by The Glory Society, is in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The Glory Society is a worker co-op developer that has members who worked on an impressive lineup of titles, including Doom (2016), Stereophyta, and, notably, Night In The Woods. This explains why there's something rather familiar-looking about the cat.

Revenant Hill takes place in 1919 and follows Twigs, a barn cat left with no barn after a fire claimed their home. Being hassled for rent over a hollow log in an abandoned graveyard, Twigs sets out to find a way to survive, in a world that seems to be going mad. In pursuit of their goals, Twigs is set to run into all kinds of colorful characters, from witches to bears, to walking skeletons.

Players can grow crops, interact with the community, and possibly engage with the occult. This is all captured in the appealing papercut art style that made Night In The Woods so charming.

Revenant Hill is set to release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with release dates yet to be confirmed.
