One of the latest games with a plot hook that initially took people by surprise is finally making its way to release. Lies of P by Round8 Studio and NEOWIZ has already won multiple awards and shared gameplay at 8K quality, but now they have announced their release window with a deeper look into the story.
This trailer spends two minutes spotlighting Simon - a mysterious figure in the city of Krat - intrigued by monsters that have overrun the once-bustling metropolis. However, players play as Pinocchio, players will wind their way through the streets of a ruined city, crafting weapons from the materials found in the world and interacting with the remaining few who manage to survive in this hellscape. The more lies told, the more human players become, with all the advantages and disadvantages it entails.
Lies of P is planned to release in August 2023 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and as part of Game Pass.
