PIXEL PRIVATEERS: Squad-Based Space RPG From the Creators of TERRARIA

Re-Logic struck gold when they made what many call "2D Minecraft". Terraria has sold over a million copies and been ported onto several devices. So naturally their next venture has a lot of eyeballs on it. However, Pixel Privateers isn't simply Terraria in space. (If that's what you're hungry for, I recommend Starbound.) Re-Logic has teamed up with Quadro Delta, creators of the crew-management adventure game Pixel Piracy to make a fancy new squad-based exploration RPG. You'll upgrade and customize your ship, put together a crew, take jobs, and explore a randomly generated galaxy. All in the name of credits and glory. This aims to be one adorable little space pirate simulator, and I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. Hopefully it'll have some awesome multiplayer implementation like Terraria did so me and my crew can form an armada that can not be rivaled!

Pixel Privateers is currently slated for a Q1 2016 release on Steam.

Pixel Privateers is a Squad Based Tactical RPG "Loot 'Em Up" that will send your team of mercenaries through a mysterious wormhole on a quest to gather technology for your employer. In a twist of fate, your journey becomes a one-way ticket - with an entire galaxy of worlds to explore, factions to encounter, and epic gear to collect.
