ICYMI: ID@Xbox Recap

Xbox just dropped an incredible showcase, packed with fresh indie gems and jaw-dropping surprises! Whether you're into co-op chaos, rhythm roguelikes, or cozy puzzle games, there was something for everyone. Let’s dive into the highlights! (Presented by IGN)

  • Revenge of the Savage Planet

    • Kicking things off with an explosive return to a wacky alien world! Upgradable gear, bizarre creatures, and co-op madness make this a must-play. Think No Man’s Sky, but goofier! Releases May 8.

  • Jump Ship

    • We've seen it before, but this epic, music-filled trailer took the hype up a notch! Hectic, chaotic, and full of personality. (And Pineapple officially belongs on pizza) Early Access Summer 2025.

  • Echo Weaver - Game Pass

    • A slick platformer that gives off Dead Cells vibes—minus the pixel art but packed with action!

  • Moonlighter 2: Endless Vault - Game Pass

    • The beloved shopkeeping roguelike is back! Can’t wait to jump back into dungeon-delving while running my store.

  • Blue Prince - Game Pass

    • A mystery-solving puzzle game launching April 10th. Reminds me of Clue the video game, it was probably MUSTAAAAAAAAAAAARD.

  • Outbound

    • A cozy adventure/puzzle game where you design your camper van and explore the great outdoors! Dynamic day/night cycles and weather make this a dream road trip. Coming 2026. Personally, 2026 is too far away to be adding this trailer into this ID@Xbox without a demo or anything.

  • Herdling

    • I played this at PAX West, and wow—what a surprise! A beautiful, heartfelt adventure that I didn’t expect to care about so much. Summer 2025.

  • Wax Heads

    • Ever wanted to run your own record store? The stunning artwork alone makes this one worth watching. Summer 2026. Again, 2026, really?

  • The Lonesome Guild - World Premiere

    • Cute animals, unique enemies, and a combat system that feels familiar yet fresh. A game about bonding—and battling! Fall 2025.

  • Buckshot Roulette - Game Pass

    • More content, multiplayer confirmed. Get ready for intense risk-and-reward gameplay!

  • Hotel Barcelona

    • WTF WAS THAT, AND WHEN CAN I PLAY IT??? Trippy visuals, epic soundtrack, and insane platforming.

  • Balatro - Game Pass

    • This trailer mashed up all your favorite games, we get it Jimbo, you have lots of friends (I love Balatro).

  • Rockbeasts

    • MTV, metal, and Bojack Horseman vibes?! Yes please! You're the manager—you make the calls. Coming 2025.

  • Ratatan

    • Rhythm roguelike greatness! Those beats are gonna live rent-free in your head. Rhythem games aren’t usually my thing but this has peaked my interest.

  • Tempopo - Game Pass

    • From the creators of Unpacking and Cactus! A grid-based puzzle game about gardening. Coming April 17th.

  • Woodo

    • A story-driven puzzle game where you literally piece the story together. Cozy, charming, and adorable!

  • Tanuki Pon’s Summer - Game Pass

    • Some Studio Ghibli-esque graphics, and a raccoon on a BMX, and playing baseball, and the drums, while delivering mail? Alright you’re just doing side quests.

  • Descenders Next - Game Pass

    • Snowboarding + boneless snowboarding (aka skateboarding down mountains). Been way too long since we got a fun snowboarding game. April 9th

  • TRON: Catalyst

    • Combat-heavy with classic TRON visuals. Dropping June 17th—but what is this game exactly? I need more details!

  • 33 Immortals

    • I have no idea what I just watched, but it's launching March 18. Definitely keeping an eye on this one!

  • Lies of P: Overture

    • More Lies of P content! I still haven’t beaten the base game (because Souls games are brutal), but this is exciting! Possible co-op—or just dual protagonists? We’ll see!
