PUBG's Miramar Map Is Now Accessible On The Xbox One Test Servers Starting Today
A couple of weeks ago, PUBG Corp. revealed that the Miramar map would arrive for the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds sometime this May. However, it turns out that players can access the map a little bit earlier as it will go live on Xbox’s test servers starting today as announced by the developer.
Currently, PC players are now waiting for a third map to arrive while Xbox players are stuck with one. The arrival of the Miramar map on the Xbox One would mean that players on this platform will now be able to play in a different area aside from the default map in the game.
Similar to the PC version of PUBG, Xbox One players must first download a test build of the game to access the map, which is directly available from the Microsoft store and is still a work-in-progress. Of course, given that the map is not yet in its final stages, players should expect to encounter bugs and things not functioning as expected. Xbox One players should find the test version of the game in their downloads list starting 12 AM on April 24 in their local timezone. After that, the new map will be available to players on a specific schedule, which you can check below:
US (PDT) Schedule
- 4/25, 4/26, 4/27: Servers available 5pm PDT through 11pm PDT
- 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 11am PDT through 11pm PDT
EUROPE (CEST) Schedule
- 4/26, 4/27, 4/28: Servers available 8 pm CEST through 8 am CEST
- 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 8 pm CEST through 8 am CEST
As an incentive, PUBG Corp. will reward the first 150 players to report any bugs with special in-game goodies. So better keep a close eye if you decide to test the new map.
