SOMETHING COOL: Turtle Beach's React-R Controllers Got A Facelift

Product sample provided by Turtle Beach

When it comes to playing games these days, I’m finding myself becoming more and more competitive with every new FPS title that hits the mainstream. Whether it’s my lack of time to perfect my grasp on the gameplay or the fact that there are so many games out right now, I’ll take any edge that I can in order to make my enjoyment of the game even more powerful.

Enter Turtle Beach’s own React-R controller, a wired gaming peripheral for Xbox and PC gamers, designed to take their gameplay to the next level. With its own perfected layout that Microsoft pushed forward with its own controllers, Turtle Beach adds its own spicy features to help elevate gameplay, such as audio controls and additional buttons to map. But the already fantastic React-R controller has been given a new set of looks thanks to three colorways that have just been introduced to the line-up!

Red colorway of the React-R controller

The three all-new React-R controller looks are Red (pictured above), Nebula (pictured at the top of the page), and Pixel Green. I went with the Nebula colorway for my sample, and couldn’t be happier with what I got. The colors actually look even better in person, with the controller’s purples and pinks really popping, which is exactly what I was hoping for when it arrived.

Though you can read our full review of the React-R controller release where we gave it a glowing 10/10 score, my experience with the controller is even better. These new colorways of the React-R controller come with better rumble technology to make gameplay feel even better. As a lover of rumble feedback, this controller gave me just what I needed during a tough game of Warzone.

In fact, one of the best compliments that I could give this controller is, I often forgot that I was even playing with a wired third-party controller. It’s not an overstimulating design and one that feels familiar yet innovates on what we already know without going too far out there. I find most pro controllers pretty overwhelming, but this one is perfect.

If you can get one of these React-R controllers this holiday season for yourself or a loved one, jump for it. Because at $39.99, you cannot go wrong!
