Developer Tuxedo Labs and publisher Saber Interactive have announced that the award-winning game Teardown is making its way from PC to consoles. The critically-acclaimed PC game comes to consoles with a full 40-mission story, the Art Vandals campaign expansion, special level challenges, Sandbox mode, and more! Console players will also have access to a curated collection of community mods from the PC version along with a controller-friendly UI.
In Teardown players will plan and execute heists in a fully destructible voxel environment, with physics-based gameplay and realistic simulations for fire, water, and more. You will be tasked with creating your own solution using an array of tools like sledgehammers, blow torches, and explosives. Plus you will have access to vehicles like cars, excavators, loaders, plows, and cranes all at your disposal. After you have used those tools and vehicles to complete the campaign and the expansion, you have Sandbox mode to play around with it. You will have access to unlimited resources, an abundance of vehicles, access to all tools, and a load of fun. The mods will add extra maps, scenarios, mini-games, tools, and other creations. Console players will also have an enhanced experience, with haptic feedback on the PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers and a revamped UI for greater ease of use on controllers.
Teardown is available now for PC via Steam, but will be available for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 at a later date in 2023.
