With so many free to play MMOs already on the market, it’s hard to imagine anything really capturing our attention these days but the open beta for THRONE AND LIBERTY has done just that. The sumptuous graphics and animations are just a few things that captured our attention but what really struck us is the polish and feeling of combat, the mix of weapon types and classes, along with some outstand set pieces that kick right off at the start of the beta.
Even the character creator is extremely detailed with a literal bazillion sliders and options to create the magic, sword, archer, or whatever character of your dreams. While the combat can be a bit simple at first along with questing, the content just got better and better as we went along. For a game that was barely on our radar, it’s not towards the top of our hype lists!
THRONE AND LIBERTY is coming to PC and console this September and will be free to play. You can order several upgrade editions of the game to get 5 day early access. The Open Beta is live until July 23rd.
