Continuing the roll they have been on this year with top-of-the-line gaming gear for players, Turtle Beach has just announced their first gaming controller that is compatible with Android devices, along with PC and Xbox consoles! This new controller can work on a variety of devices and was accurately given the name Recon Cloud Hybrid Controller.
This new controller was built and designed by the same team that brought us the React-R Controller just last month. It has a massive 30+ hour battery life with quick, play-and-charge capability for all-day gaming when on the go. Of course, we can’t forget the adjustable phone clip that securely mounts all compatible Android phones – nearly any sized phone, even in its case – above the controller. Then, when the clip is detached, it converts into a tabletop stand.
It also has a 10-foot braided USB cable for PC and console play, which while plugged into those platforms, players have access to audio features like Superhuman Hearing, custom audio presets, and more. All these audio options that Turtle Beach is known for will be available to players while the controller is used in its wired mode.
To answer the question about the team’s plans to create controllers for other platforms, such as Apple devices and PlayStation, is Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO, Turtle Beach Corporation. He stated, “The Recon Cloud is the first of our expanded lineup of mobile controllers launching this year, with additional new products designed for iOS and other consoles coming soon.”
Turtle Beach’s Recon Cloud Hybrid Controller is available for pre-order for $99.99 USD and is set to launch on October 16th. It is available in both Black and Magma Blue color styles.
