After originally teasing the project in a random tweet back in 2020, developers Jaw Drop Games and publisher Raw Fury are ready to announce their upcoming game Gun Jam! This game will be a music-filled adventure where the electronic dance music, trap, and metal styles lead players through an adrenaline-charged rhythm first-person shooter.
Welcome to the vibrant city of Mubel, where the omni-present ‘Beat’ uses everything — even music — as a means of control. While city-dwellers dance to The Speaker’s ruling tune, players must rebel and break out of its hypnotic flow by force. Here players will cross across varied, vibrant environments. Carefully match your shots to the beat pattern and fight off hordes of tranced-out troopers and other enemies to survive the musical dystopia and restore freedom to the masses.
Gun Jam doesn’t have a release date yet, but they do have a Steam page set up for interested players to add to their wishlist. The teaser above doesn’t give us much to go off yet either, but this definitely sounds like an interesting title and one to keep an eye on.
