Ravensburger is kicking off 2026 with a wicked grin, officially unveiling two brand-new expansions for its award-winning Disney Villainous lineup. Both expansions arrive later this year and continue a trend fans have been loving: live-action villains stepping into the spotlight alongside animated icons. And as a bonus, one of them is arriving just in time for spooky season.
Disney Villainous: Success at Any Cost
Launching in July, Disney Villainous: Success at Any Cost introduces two charming, calculating manipulators to the franchise:
Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco
Prince Hans from Frozen
This two-player expandalone works right out of the box or can be mixed with other Villainous sets to support up to four players. Thematically, this pairing is perfect. Both Ernesto and Hans are villains who weren’t content with just winning—they were willing to betray, manipulate, and hurt anyone necessary to get there. If there was ever a Villainous box built around ambition at all costs, this is it.
Honestly, Ernesto de la Cruz has felt like an inevitable Villainous inclusion for years, and Hans fits just as naturally. Putting them together just feels right.
U.S. fans will also be able to snag a Target-exclusive special edition, featuring:
Papel picado–inspired packaging (a beautiful nod to Día de los Muertos)
A special finish on Ernesto’s sculpted mover
Disney Villainous: Come, We Fly!
As Halloween approaches, Ravensburger is conjuring something truly magical. Disney Villainous: Come, We Fly! brings the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus into the Villainous system as a playable villain.
This marks the franchise’s second live-action villain, following Davy Jones’ debut, and it’s a phenomenal choice. The Sanderson Sisters are an iconic trio, and translating them into Villainous feels like a perfect match for the system. Personally, I’ve really enjoyed seeing Villainous embrace live-action characters, and the Sanderson Sisters might be one of the strongest fits yet. I’m curious if having a trio as one playable character will come with some sort of new unique mechanic. If there was ever a Disney villain group destined for dramatic turns, curses, and theatrical table presence, it’s this coven.
Villainous Keeps Getting Better (and Meaner)
According to Ravensburger’s International Product Manager Lysa Penrose, the success of recent live-action additions opened the door to even bolder choices—and these 2026 expansions prove it. Between the ruthless ambition of Success at Any Cost and the Halloween-perfect chaos of Come, We Fly!, Villainous continues to expand in ways that feel both fan-driven and mechanically thoughtful.
