Seemingly out of nowhere, Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games have announced their own take on the brawler genre with an IP-expansive title called, MultiVersus. The game will be an all-new free-to-play platform fighter with a bunch of modes to play.

There’ll be the standard free-for-all, 1v1, and even 2v2. The 2v2 mode is really cool as it will have players not only focus on combat but on working together with their teammate. Additionally, players will be able to configure their own movesets specific to the characters they’ll play as.

Now, to get into the coolest part of MultiVersus. You’ll get a chance to play as some of WB’s most iconic and fantastic fighters that span the entire library of IPs they own. And all of these characters are voiced by some of the voice talents that make them so legendary.

Here’s some of the characters announced so far:

MultiVersus releases in 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC with full cross-play support.
