It’s crazy to think that we are about to dive into a game that will give us a hero so strong that we can literally one-punch them and win. Saitama, the most underrated ultimate hero, is the superstar of the One Punch Man manga and anime series which now has its first game to hit consoles called One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows thanks to Bandai Namco.
Now, I know what you’re thinking, “If you can just one-punch everybody, then where’s the fun and challenge in that?” Well, you will be making a character of your own for the story mode and complete quests from both citizens and the Hero’s Association in order to make your way up the ranks. This will feature RPG elements as you explore the town and level up. Other than the story mode, you can form up teams for epic 3-vs-3 fights and have fun in the action that way. Personally, though, I am looking forward to living through another anime as I did with DragonBall Z: Kakarot!
Launching on Steam for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One is a big step for this series to make and one that I am glad it finally has made. I can’t wait to play through sections of favorite comedy-action anime and just be in the city that it all takes place in.
