Yesterday, Ubiisoft released a free game update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as the celebration of 15 years of Assassin’s Creed keeps rolling. This includes the Rune Forge, the final part of Tombs of the Fallen, and special in game rewards like a settlement pack and new tattoos! Additionally, more free content will arrive next month with the Oskoreia Festival, and towards the end of the year The Last Chapter story will release.
Another part of the celebration will focus on the unique art pieces that different creators have from around the world put together for Assassin’s Creed via a digital art exhibition available on the Assassin’s Creed website. There is also inspired music and merch for the 15th anniversary.
The reason for this celebration is to recognize Assassin’s Creed as a pivotal franchise in gaming history. The powerful stories and epic gameplay featured throughout the franchise’s titles have changed the way games are made and designed, and Ubisoft wants players to know that they don’t plan to stop anytime soon.
