Movement Shooter SPRAWL Gets Launch Date

Rogue Games and developer MAETH are proud to announce their brutal movement shooter SPRAWL has a planned release. Super soldier, Seven, who is a former special agent, will have to utilize her Icarus cybernetics to run on walls and stop time to escape a cyberpunk megalopolis under the iron fist of a corrupt military regime.

The game takes place in a fully realized cyberpunk city based on stories and settings like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and the former Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong. The protagonist Seven is framed for the slaughter of countless civilians in a botched military mission and so, is reduced to living in a dishonorable state in a washed-out apartment. She understands her past and realizes that death is the only redemption. Then she receives a message from a mysterious voice called the Father who convinces her to stop the government from killing potential “obstacles.” What follows is a bloody and fast-paced shooter cyberpunk adventure.

Players will have to use an assortment of weapons like katanas, pistols, and shotguns to slice and blast through the corrupt government operatives. Cybernetic implants allow for time slowdowns and switching momentum in midair to get the jump on unsuspecting enemies. The more kills, the more pickups from enemies the player will get. All this blood-pumping action occurs under the original soundtrack composed by music industry veteran Carlos Lizarraga who worked for many projects and companies like Warner, Sony, and Interscope. The other star-studded cast member is Firesprite programmer Hannah Crawford, with accolades from Horizon: Call of the Mountain and Sea of Thieves.

SPRAWL is planned for an August release date on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
