October definitely is having the spooky season interrupted with a bunch of amazing announcements for fans of the Demon Slayer anime series! While viewers get some new episodes to watch, gamers are getting a video game that lets them be the blade that kills demons. This video game is officially titled Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles and it releases this week on October 15th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Just as developers CyberConnect2 have done before, players will get the chance to play through the adventure that they saw play out in the anime itself. We have seen how well they have given both Naruto and DragonBall Z players the chance to play through the series, so there are high hopes and expectations behind this one. To help show this off and build hype for the release, they have given us the adventure mode trailer above. In it, we are shown that the story will go all the way through to the end of the Mugen Train arc and includes a versus mode.
Anticipating fans that can’t wait until October 15th for release have a way to get into the action early. All players who pre-order the deluxe version of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will get access to the game early on October 13th! It also comes with other rewards, such as character unlock keys, avatars, and more depending on your platform. All pre-order options are available on the Demon Slayer video game website.
