PC Gaming Show 2020 Recap Pt. 2

This year’s PC Gaming Show was the biggest one yet, featuring brand new reveals and never before seen footage from around 50 titles! The 2-hour broadcast showcased footage for multiple highly anticipated titles including Evil Genius 2, Godfall, Mortal Shell and so much more. There were also some pretty exciting game reveals and teasers sprinkled throughout the show with titles like Persona 4 Golden, Icarus, Twin Mirror, along with many others.

The show was so big that I have decided to split this recap into 2 parts. You will find the first 25 titles that were talked about in our PC Gaming Show 2020 Recap Pt. 1 article and can find the rest of the titles below.

Among Trees

Created by a three-person team based out of Sweden, Among Trees places players into a beautifully crafted world where they can be one with nature. Don’t get too comfortable however, as there are dangerous beasts that share this domain with you, and they don’t like neighbors. The game is available in Early Access now, exclusively on the Epic Games Store. Check out the official trailer below!

Potionomics

Potionomics gives players a look inside the business aspect of potion brewing. The game places players into the shoes of a witch attempting to get out of debt by creating the greatest potions known to man. Coming to Windows PC at an undisclosed date, go visit potionomics.com to learn more, and don’t forget to check out the official announcement trailer below.

Mortal Shell

Coming later this year exclusively to the Epic Games Store, Mortal Shell throws a unique twist on the adventurer’s hunt for better gear. Rather than looking for better equipment, players will possess other fallen warriors in order to utilize their gear. Check out the official gameplay trailer below, and don’t forget to join the game’s official Discord server if you want access to the Beta next month.

Shadowman Remastered

After modernizing classics like Bladerunner and Turok, Nightdive Studios is trying their hand at Shadowman. The remaster of the 1999 cult-classic will offer 4K support and reintroduce content that was originally cut from the game. Check out the official reveal below!

Tripwire Interview

The PC Gaming Show pumped the brakes on new game reveals, and never before seen gameplay footage to talk with the President of Tripwire Interactive, John Gibson. The interview goes over the new Killing Floor 2 update, the status of Maneater, and the upcoming Chivalry II. Check it out for yourself below!

Epic Games Store Exclusives

Many titles announced during this year’s PC Gaming Show happened to be coming exclusively to the Epic Games Store. Below you will find a compilation of all of these titles, and must I say the Epic Games Store is looking mighty fine at the moment.

Blightbound

In this three-player dungeon crawler, you and a couple of friends will explore dark dungeons and fight various monsters on your quest to gain new gear, and build your roster of heroes. The game will hit Steam Early Access later this year so be sure to head on over and wishlist the upcoming title, and don’t forget to check out the announcement trailer below.

Shadows of Doubt

Set in a beautifully crafted sci-fi noir city, Shadows of Doubt is a stealth detective sim where players can live out their crime-solving fantasies. Check out the teaser trailer below.

Paradise Killer

In this open-world murder mystery, players take on the role of Lady Love Dies, an investigation freak set on finding the murderer of Paradise. In Paradise Killer, anyone could be the culprit. It is up to the player to use the evidence they find and determine who it is, and why they did it. Check out our first gameplay look below.

Haven

This beautiful upcoming RPG follows the story of two lovers that have run away together and ended up on a lost planet where they can live out their lives with each other forever. Check out the reveal below.

Cartel Tycoon

This drug cartel simulator throws players into the shoes of a drug lord has they attempt to build their very own drug empire. Coming to PC in Q4 of this year, players can get hands-on right away with the free demo available on Steam. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Trash Sailors

In this survival co-op adventure game, you and your friends take on the role of trash sailors. You must explore the ocean in this ruined world in order to build up your ship in an effort to survive the great flood. The game is scheduled to release on PC and consoles later this year. Cris Tales

This tribute to classic RPGs features turn-based combat and allows the player to experience past, present, and future simultaneously. The game will arrive to consoles and PC on November 17 later this year. You can get hands-on right away with the free demo available to play now on Steam, and don’t forget to check out the intro cinematic teaser below.

Alaloth: Champion of the Four Kingdoms

Alaloth offers a deep narrative and fast-paced combat. Players take on the role of champion tasked with reuniting the divided kingdoms. The game is available to wishlist now on Steam and will launch on both PC and Xbox One later this year. Check out the teaser trailer below.

Weird West

From the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey, Weird West is a dark reimagining of the Wild West as we know it. Although the perspective and studio are different, Weird West holds the same spirit as Dishonored and Prey. The game is scheduled to release sometime in 2021, but players will have a chance to play an early demo of the game in the coming months. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

The original farming sim is making its way on to PC later this year! Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will allow players to live out that simple farmer life. Players can grow copious amounts of crops, look after livestock, collect pets, and even get married. The game will launch on Steam later this July. Check out the gameplay trailer below.

New World

Amazon Games’ upcoming MMO, New World, offers 100 player battles in a vast mystical world. Pre-ordering the title will grant you access to the closed beta on July 23, an entire month before the game releases on August 25. Check out the official trailer below.

Twin Mirror

From the creators of critically acclaimed adventure series, Life is Strange, Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller that follows the story of investigative journalist, Sam. Sam has returned to his hometown in search of some answers. The game is scheduled to release on Xbox One, PS4, and exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC later this year. Metal Hellsinger

This upcoming rhythm-FPS has players slaying demons as they journey through eight Hells, all while jamming to a heavy metal soundtrack. The game features vocal performances from some of the most renowned heavy metal artists and will be launching on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and next-gen consoles sometime next year. Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos

This silly tactical-RPG/dungeon crawler features a group of adventurers on the hunt for treasure. Each character has their own skillset and fighting style. The game is scheduled to release later this summer on PC and is available to wishlist now on Steam. You can get your first look at some gameplay from the upcoming title below.

Red Sails

Red Sails is a narratively driven adventure game where players sail the vast open desert in search of their missing clan mates. You can get your first look at the title below, and don’t forget to wishlist the game on Steam.

Surgeon Simulator 2

In this very accurate healthcare sim, players take on the role of one of many available professional surgeons, where they can then execute complicated surgical operations. Surgeon Simulator 2 will not only allow players to cooperatively give life-saving aid to patients, but they can also solve various puzzles, and customize their work station. The Last Campfire

From the studio that brought you the open-world phenomenon No Man’s Sky, The Last Campfire is a much more linear, intimate adventure game. The game follows a lost ember searching for answers and a way back home. The game is scheduled to release exclusively on the Epic Games Store later this Summer. Escape From Tarkov Map Reveal

Escape From Tarkov is getting a brand new map! The upcoming map will be the most ambitious and detailed map to grace the realistic, survival-shooter title yet. Outlast Trials

The next installment of the terrifying Outlast series by Red Barrels, Outlast Trials, will drag players through a new set of terrifying events based during the Cold War. To lighten up the tension this time around, you can take part in these terrifying encounters with friends! You can check out the horrifying reveal trailer below.

Gloomwood

Inspired by a combination of survival horror titles, and immersive sims from the late 90s, Gloomwood places players in a cursed Victorian City that they must attempt to escape using stealth and a vast arsenal of weaponry. The game is scheduled to release “soon”, but those who are looking to play right away can get their hands on a free demo through Steam. You can check out the official trailer below.
