Tetris 99 has been a surprise success since its launch earlier this year. The free to play game, as long as you had an active Nintendo Switch Online account, saw the game of Tetris brought into the world of battle royale. Somehow it worked and has been a total blast! Today a New DLC pack is now available, titled the Big Block DLC, that adds features many of you out there might find interesting!
First of all this new DLC pack adds offline functionality into Tetris 99 removing the need for an active Nintendo Switch Online account making the whole Tetris battle royale playable against 98 bots instead. Great news for anyone out there who isn’t interested in playing the online mode of the game. An offline marathon mode, which plays like a traditional Tetris title, has also been added to give anyone looking for that classic Tetris experience a way to have it on the Switch! The Big Block DLC is available now for a price of $9.99.
