2D Indie Game INTO A DREAM Focuses On A Problem In Reality
A solo developer is hoping to present a hauntingly beautiful experience through a journey that is about love, hopelessness, and depression. This developer is Filipe Thomaz and he has created a game called Into A Dream. He is designing this title in a way that he encourages people to put their own voice in the conversation, especially with men’s mental health becoming a more accepting topic.
This story-driven atmospheric adventure will have players delve deep into the dreams of a man diagnosed with depression. Players will have to find the man lost within his own mind, unravel his story, and help him take the first steps toward therapy. As his last hope, you will be the only one that can save him from fading away.
Into A Dream is set to launch on PC via Steam, which currently has a free demo available, sometime in July 2020, but he is also planning to host a pre-launch crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo in June. This campaign will give players the chance to take advantage of a few reward tiers and get a discount on the game.
