According to a new post on Reddit by squeenixleaker0404, a Final Fantasy Legacy Collection is in the works for the Switch. The compilation is said to include PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, PS2 title Dirge of Cerberus, and the mobile only Before Crisis. No word has been given if the compilation will include the original Final Fantasy VII release.
This release would be fantastic if it turns out to be true. Crisis Core is a fantastic title and it being stuck on PSP is too harsh to think about. I wasn’t a huge fan of Dirge of Cerberus during its original release but maybe if it comes to new platforms I can give it a second shot. But as with all rumors it is best to take this with a massive grain of salt.
squeenixleaker0404 has also recently leaked plans for a Tomb Raider collection coming to Switch and Next Gen platforms.
