A new trailer was released by The Pokemon Company yesterday that gives players a preview of upcoming Switch titles, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. The new footage showcases areas in the Kanto region that will be shown for the first time in the history of the franchise.
The preview begins with an introduction of Secret Techniques, which are new moves that players can command Pikachu or Eevee to obliterate blocked paths around the region. These latest actions would serve as a replacement to the HM moves that players of previous Pokemon games would have to acquire to move around the area.
The trailer then gives a preview of Celadon City, which is one of the largest cities in the Kanto region. Celadon will be home to Erika, the fourth Gym Leader that players would have to defeat to progress. Erika specializes in Grass-type Pokemon and will battle the player alongside Vileplume.
A special Switch bundle is also available on the game’s release date for players to purchase that features a Pikachu and Eevee design and would have either Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee installed, depending on the player’s preference.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are scheduled to release on November 16.
