Well here is something interesting, a new text-based adventure game is coming to PC in 2020. This new game is called Roadwarden and is being developed by Moral Anxiety Studio. Roadwarden won’t be 100% text-based but rather combine the genre with visual novel elements to deliver an in-depth storytelling experience. The game also features a nice pixel art style to really drive the aesthetics home! Player’s will assume the role of a wandering adventurer tasked with anything from delivering messages and goods to taking on enemies. The world of Roadwarden is a magical one so expect some interesting encounters on your journeys!

Roadwarden seems like a very interesting take on the genres it encompasses and I can’t wait to learn more as the game furthers in development. Roadwarden is not expected to launch until late 2020.
