Devil May Cry 5 will feature a playable demo of the game at this year’s Gamescom. The game’s director, Hideaki Itsuno, announced the upcoming demo via Twitter saying that the official preview will be ready for Gamescom 2018.
The upcoming installment in the Devil May Cry series was initially announced during last June’s E3 expo. Capcom revealed at the event that the upcoming game would directly follow the events of Devil May Cry 4, which was released about ten years ago in 2008.
The feature of Devil May Cry 5 at E3 revealed a few gameplay elements that players can look forward to in the game. The trailer showed the character, Nero, sporting a new cybernetic arm called the Devil Breaker, which as the name suggests, a cool weapon that will have powerful abilities such as lighting-based attacks among many others.
The demo that will be featured at Gamescom will allow attendees to have a hands-on experience of the upcoming game. Devil May Cry 5 is scheduled to release at Spring of 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
