The Nintendo Switch is nearing its second year anniversary in a few months, but up until today, the hybrid console is still missing a few basic apps that are present in other consoles, such as YouTube.
Now, reports are circulating that a YouTube app is set to launch on the console next week as indicated on Nintendo’s official website. As of the moment, the page is still inaccessible but scrolling at the bottom of the page, you’ll find the “you might also like…” section suggesting YouTube. Comicbook reported that a November 8 release date appears on the website, which would mean that the app will be available on the eShop by Thursday.
Of course, since there is still no official statement from Nintendo, this information must be taken with a grain of salt.
