We are a day out from the new mission addition of Ace Combat 7! There is a ton of mystery surrounding this mission and what the overall storyline of these missions will be. It seems clear from the trailer that players will continue to assume the role of Trigger as Osea takes on a new threat from a rogue super submarine. from the mission titles, it would seem that this will be a series of connected missions culminating in the final attack on the sub itself. Timeline wise it seems these missions will take place in the latter half of the main game’s campaign based on clues given throughout the video.
While I am a bit saddened by finding out we will still be playing as Trigger, this mission pack looks exciting! Now don’t get me wrong I actually like Trigger and the story arc given to him. I just was expecting a different protagonist after previous statements about new storylines being in the DLC. It does look like we will get a few more enemy aces to deal with though so that is pretty exciting! As an Ace Combat fan, I am just excited to see more missions come to the game and can’t wait to play the first new addition tomorrow!

DLC #4 launches tomorrow September 25th, DLC#5 Launches October 23rd and DLC #6 launches on November 27th. I will be sure to keep you all posted with thoughts as each one gets released!
