After a successful launch on PC with plans to come to console this Summer, Asylum Square and Gameforge has announced the official date Tiny Thor will drop on the Nintendo Switch. Along with this, they have managed to fix bugs in the game and add accessibility options in preparation for the new console launch, and these updates will come to PC on July 31st for current players.
This game features 16-bit graphics and gameplay centered around using a mini-Mjölnir as players lead our pint-sized Norse protagonist through 36 challenging levels filled with all kinds of obstacles. Use the mighty hammer and its unlockable power-ups to travel the realms of Asgard, defeating an army of adversaries dead set on stopping Thor in his tracks.
A fun fact about this game is that they increase the nostalgia further by featuring art from veteran pixel artist Henk Nieborg (Spyro: A Hero’s Tail, Contra 4, Shantae series) and an original soundtrack from Chris Hülsbeck (Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Turrican).
Tiny Thor is available now on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. It will launch for Nintendo Switch on August 3rd.
