AndaSeat KAISER 3 Review: Premium Luxury-Comfort Never Looked This Stylish

Kaiser 3 L Gaming Chair provided by AndaSeat

Style, comfortability, and quality are the three major concerns of any gaming chair. The competition is fierce and there are a plethora of brands to choose from. How are we ever going to decide on the perfect chair? AndaSeat is doing its damnedest to impress you in every aspect. They are bringing supreme build quality along with stylish designs that will not only satisfy the average gamer but attract the corporate crowd as well. The Kaiser 3 aims to please on all fronts, and boy does it deliver.

The Kaiser 3 is available in both Large and Extra-Large sizes, accommodating individuals in a wide range of body types. With the addition of added comfortability and support by using premium quality materials, AndaSeat is offering a product that not only looks luxurious but feels premium.

What’s In The Box

Every aspect of the AndaSeat brand resonates with quality, including the packaging. The contents within the box were all securely protected by thick foam cushions and plastic sleeves. Most of the individual pieces are neatly packaged in small boxes which I was extremely grateful for. This small feature made assembly, even more, user-friendly with this added aspect of organization. I was pleasantly surprised to receive such a well-protected product.

The entire chair was quick and easy to assemble, taking the better portion of 20 minutes to complete. I did have the privilege of having an extra person to assist me with some steps but the assembly was so simple, that it can easily be completed by a single user. AndaSeat provides an instruction manual with full-color pictures that make the assembly that much easier to complete. This was incredibly appreciated since assembly is not something I am fond of and they made it as simple as possible.

The Contents Include:

  • Kaiser 3 backrest with a built-in adjustable lumbar support system

  • Kaiser 3 bottom cushion with adjustable incline lever

  • Arm Rests with magnetic foam tops

  • Chair base with wheels

  • Magnetic cooling headrest pillow

  • Tilt lock lever handle

  • Height adjustment tilt lever

  • And an assortment of accessories including screws, magnetic side covers, long allen key, etc..

Aesthetics and Build Quality

The Premium PVC Leather DuraXtra material is designed to provide a soft and comfortable sitting experience. The material is crafted to keep you cool during long gaming sessions. Add on the inclusion of stain and scratch resistance and you got yourself a material that's built to last.

The Kaiser 3 comes in a multitude of colors and fabric schemes. This particular review model had black PVC leather with a hint of orange trimming that really gave this chair just enough pop and added to its elegant look. Not only is it suitable for a gaming desk but it is perfectly acceptable for corporate use. Like many of us nowadays, if you work from home and are required to be on camera from time to time, there is no need to worry about the aesthetics looking out of place on this one. The Kaiser 3 has character but absolutely satisfies that luxury look as well as feel, giving off a professionally suitable aesthetic.

The build quality is simply superb. Everything from the ease of movement on the wheels, to the smooth incline lever and adjustable armrests, are all made with long-lasting quality in mind. On top of that, you can’t go wrong with a steel framework and thankfully everything fitted seamlessly into place upon assembly. This metal basis truly makes this chair feel sturdy and will last for years to come.

Specs And Special Features

The Kaiser 3 Large accommodates users with a height of around 5’0” to 5’11” and weighing up to 264 lbs. The XL is intended for users with a height ranging from 5’11” to 6’10” and weighing up to 397 lbs. I can happily attest that the Large comfortably fits within this range, even when I had friends over that surpassed the recommended specs. A vast majority of gamers will be pleased to see that either model will be accessible.

Let's dive into the special features this chair offers. You can expect a long list of features ranging from quality of life, as well as luxury improvements. Let's take a look:

Built-in Lumbar Support

This feature is fantastic and works great. The lumbar system is operated by a twist wheel on the side of the chair. Spinning allows the lumbar support to move up and down as well as expand and contract to your desired position and comfort level. I found myself mostly using the lumbar support while working and preferred to hide it during short game sessions. This is completely based on preference but it's nice to have this kind of built-in system instead of worrying about straps and pillows which frees up unwanted clutter.

Magnetic Accessories

You had me at hello. The magnetic memory foam neck pillow is curved to accommodate natural spine curvature and feels like that extra thought has not gone unnoticed. I found myself using the pillow the entirety of my time with this chair. Many head pillows on different chairs have a nice foamy feel but can cause some unwanted heat with extended use, typically because of the unbreathable material. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this never occurred during my extended use of the chair and the pillow was consistently cool throughout.

The magnetic design makes it easy to adjust and simply clicks into place. I was worried about the sturdiness of the pillow since the whole design is solely based on magnets. I was afraid that the pillow would be easily moved out of place while gaming or even when inclined and watching a movie. I am happy to report that no such issue exists. This pillow is easily locked in place and won't maneuver unless intended to do so. Say goodbye to ugly straps and make room for more comfort and extra cooling.

The armrests also incorporate the magnetic design quite well with the foam cushion tops. They also have a sturdy design, only removable when pulling up from the front of the armrest. The cushion itself is soft enough for forearms and elbows to rest easily.

They also have very versatile movement, allowing for a wide range of positions to match your situation. I mostly used this chair to game in front of my tv. I was happy to see the armrests include the 4D movement functionality. Being able to move them outward and allow a place for my elbows to rest was appreciated. Along with this, you can also adjust the height and position to your liking, allowing for wrists and forearms to partake in the comfortability.

Adjustable Backrest With 165 Degree Incline

The backrest includes an ease-of-use incline lever that allows for a wide range of 90 to 165 degrees. I found myself experimenting with many of the angle options and found that most of them were comfortable. The lever smoothly operates with ease and functions as it should. Whether I was gaming, reading, working, or watching a movie, the chair served as a fantastic all-in-one seat.

One exception to this is the aforementioned 165-degree incline. AndaSeat recommends this setting as a “nap mode” for resting. It definitely feels like a “rest” mode but made it very evident that a built-in footrest is a sorely missed opportunity.

Adjustable Height And Locking Levers

The base of the chair includes adjustable levers to customize to your height and lock your rocking position. These levers are conveniently located on the left and right sides under the seat. They are easy to use and allowed anyone to adjust the height easily or lock in the rocking feature during those intense gaming moments.

What It Could Have Done Better

While I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Kaiser 3, I did see some room for improvement. The armrests do have a good versatile movement with their 4D inclusion but I would have preferred to have the option to move them a bit more inward. For someone who primarily games on a console and uses a gamepad, I need a place for my elbows to rest. Thankfully the armrests can be moved inward to allow this and although it works, it would have been perfect if I could have adjusted them just a tad more.

There is an adjustable system under the seat that can be unscrewed to slide the armrests out more, but unfortunately, my issue was the opposite. I needed them to be placed just slightly more inward for the perfect position. Although this didn't hinder my experience with the chair much, I was just a little disappointed that they could not be placed more inward but could accommodate for further outward positioning.

With such premium quality and convenient features, and the inclusion of a 165-degree incline, this chair begs for a footrest. This chair would be so well complemented with a built-in footrest and would truly act as an all-in-one chair for not only gaming and work but for relaxation as well. Unfortunately, you may have to stick with your recliner for some much-needed rest or Netflix binge-watching unless you want to invest in a separate footrest.

Verdict

There is no doubt that the AndaSeat’s Kaiser 3 really lavishes in build quality and comfortability. The range of use for this chair is truly a highlighted feature. It can be as bold as any gaming streamer prefers it to be, as well as comfortable for long gaming sessions. Its stylish and luxurious accents make it a great choice for corporate use and any work-at-home individual would appreciate. The AndaSeat Kaiser 3 Premium PVC Leather is in a league of its own and will respectably please its users with a premium quality build and appeal, making it a great addition to any setup. If you are looking for premium build quality, comfort, and versatility, the AndaSeat Kaiser 3 is a solid choice.
