Fans of MMORPG titles that may or may not have been following the development of Ashes of Creation by Intrepid Studios now have a chance to see where the game is at. They did an alpha roughly two years ago and have plenty of videos on their YouTube showing off the games development progression since then, but there’s nothing like being part of the crew that gets to jump into the game as it currently stands.
You’ll notice that the first couple of sessions will require players to sign an NDA in order to participate in the first alpha tests, but then the alpha will be open for all interested players in March and April. This announcement and road map didn’t just come with a short description and a link to sign up though. They provided a full devlog to give players, both new and old, an update on the game’s status, their goal with the alpha, and pretty much anything you could want to know right away in their latest Creative Director’s Letter.
