Assassin’s Creed III and its Vita spin-off Assassin’s Creed Liberation could be making their way to the Nintendo Switch. Several Czech websites, first listed on Reddit, have begun listing the collection for pre-order with an advertised release date on February 15 and a price of $35. The Assassin’s Creed III collection has yet to be officially announced for Nintendo Switch but we do know the existence of the collection is very real for other platforms as part of the season pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
If the Assassin’s Creed III collection does make its way to the Switch this will be the second time the game will be released on a Nintendo console. A slightly mediocre port of Assassin’s Creed III (So much motion blur!!!!) appeared on the Wii U back in the early days of that systems life followed by a release of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has also appeared on the Nintendo Switch though it is exclusive to Japan as a cloud version. As with all rumors take this with a grain of salt until official confirmation can occur. Though the included cover art from the listing has me pretty convinced there is some truth to this rumor.
