“Have you slept on an Atari bed today?”
Soon, that rhetorical question will no longer be a corruption of a classic advertising slogan. Atari, once synonymous with video games, has revealed in a press kit that they have teamed up with GSD Group and True North Studio to launch a line of Atari-themed hotels in 8 American cities. The first one is expected to open in Phoenix, Arizona with another in Las Vegas, Nevada to follow. Others are planned for:
Seattle, Washington
San Jose, California
San Francisco, California
Denver, Colorado
Chicago, Illinois
Austin, Texas,
The hotels are expected to come with bars, gyms, “gaming playgrounds” and ESports studios.
