Glimpse of Dead Cells new character gameplay - Risk of Rain’s “Commando”
The developers of Risk of Rain 2, Hopoo Games, and the developers of Dead Cells, Motion Twin, have teamed up, and with the help of other indie developers announced a half-off bundle on Steam composed of a ton of awesome indie roguelikes.
In addition to that amazing news, Hopoo Games and Motion Twin are also throwing some flavorful extras of their own into their games to celebrate the occasion. The much beloved Commando character from the original Risk of Rain will appear in Dead Cells as a playable skin in all its 8-bit glory. Plus, Motion Twin will be adding Huntress’s Laser Glaive from Risk of Rain 2 as a playable weapon in Dead Cells. That’s not all that’s getting added to Dead Cells for fans of Risk of Rain to enjoy; the monsters Golem and Magma Worm, as well as the classic teleporters from Risk of Rain, will be making a surprise appearance for Dead Cells players to discover. These crossover content elements will go live in Dead Cells for players on Steam on November 7th and on November 17th for players on console.
On Steam, Risk of Rain 2 will be on sale for 50% off the standard retail price if players are interested in picking up just that element of the bundle.
Games that will be included in the ‘Everyone Is Here…Again’ Bundle includes Risk of Rain 2, Dead Cells, Slay the Spire, Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope, and Katana ZERO.
