Three years ago, developer and publisher Larian Studios announced that Baldur's Gate 3 was in the works. Now we finally have a release date to look forward to and a few other details included. Players will be able to play split-screen co-op or play online with up to four players. There will also be full controller support for PC players at launch. We also finally got some details about the Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition!
First, all early access players on PC, which includes anyone who pre-orders the game between now and release, have been automatically upgraded to the Deluxe Edition. Here’s what Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition contains:
A playable Bard Song Pack featuring songs from Divinity: Original Sin II
An exclusive in-game dice skin
An Adventurer’s Pouch that contains supplies to help you get a head start on your journey
Digital downloads of the Baldur’s Gate 3 original soundtrack, artbook, and character sheets
72-hour early access to Act 1 of the title beginning August 28, 2023 (PS5 exclusive)
A pack of items inspired by Divinity: Original Sin II
Just as you see in the image above, here’s what Baldur’s Gate 3 Collector’s Edition will include:

25cm Mind Flayer vs. Drow battle diorama
160-page hardcover art book
Cloth map of Faerûn

By pre-ordering the Collector’s Edition, players will also receive the contents of the Deluxe Edition. Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch on August 31, 2023, for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. What do you think of the different editions that are available?
