Battlefield 2042 was less than spectacular on launch, and it took a long period after launch with many changes for EA to win back the fans. However, Battlefield 6 looks like it is about to make all the mistakes of 2042 right again and deliver an even more action packed experience than before.
Battlefield 6 looks like its bringing back urban warfare and doing away wtih the gigantic maps of 2042 and bringing things down a smaller setting while keeping maps big enough so that you do not become another Call of Duty game.
As someone who has a few hours in 2042, I am already exctied for Battlefield 6 and to play it with friends. I am happy with all of the changes 6 has done over 2042 and this time the game is only launching on current gen consoles.
Battlefield 6 will deply on October 10th, 2025 for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
