Zach Galifianakis is coming to Netflix with a movie that will surely be a riot. Between Two Ferns is a popular Internet interview show where the comedian tears apart celebrities who decide to brave the hostile and absurd environment. The show is so named for the ferns positioned on either side of the host and his guest, and Zach Galifianakis has honed his special craft of awkward by making the celebrities as uncomfortable as possible.
And that beautiful concept is now a motion picture that’ll be here in two weeks time! Just the trailer alone shows a crazy long list of celebrities that have lined up for the chance to be in the project. Matthew McConaughey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brie Larson, and so many more. It doesn’t seem to depart too much from the humor of the original sketch, so if you’re a fan of the Internet darling, then you’ll be pleased. Netflix doesn’t reveal concrete numbers for the streaming service, but it would be interesting to see how well it does upon release.
