While we’re a gaming-first website, I love discovering and testing a wide variety of items that go beyond consoles and computers. With that in mind, this monthly roundup highlights some of my favorite products I’ve had a chance to test over the past 30 days. Food, tech, decor, toys — if you can name it, I’m probably ready to analyze it.

With all of that said — from the basics to the bizarre, here’s what I recommend for September 2026.
RENPHO Shiatsu Foot Massager

I’m not big on people touching my feet, so I’ve long since been left wondering what a good foot massage feels like. After using the RENPHO Shiatsu Foot Massager for the past few weeks, my weary flat feet have been feeling much happier than usual.
In all fairness, I have little to compare it to, but this massager has been a wonderful addition to my daily routine, letting me choose between different kneading intensities and pressure levels (via air intensity) with a simple click of a button. It even comes with a remote so you don’t have to bend down to change settings while you’re resting.
While it doesn’t provide the same level of targeted massage as human hands, this electric foot massager has no doubt helped my endlessly tired feet while being conveniently usable anywhere. This one’s an easy recommendation for anyone who just wants a bit of relief.
Saatva Natural Latex Topper
Price: $255 - $415
My wife and I recently bought a new bed, and while it slept much more comfortably than the sinking one we’d had for nearly a decade, I was still waking up with pinched nerves in my shoulders and hips. After trying the Saatva Natural Latex Topper, I never want to sleep on anything else again.
This has been my first experience sleeping on latex, but I’m a believer. I toss and turn less frequently, sleep harder, and wake up in considerably less pain than I used to. As someone who tends to sleep lightly (and often poorly) by default, it’s been a game-changer that is helping me catch up on some much-needed rest.
The 1.5” thickness may bottom out for heavier individuals (my understanding is that at least 3” is typically recommended for those over 250lbs), but it’s provided a perfect mixture of firmness and “give” for my 220lbs frame on both my side and back. It helps that it’s very breathable, too, so I’ve experienced no extra heat issues since adding it — just way better sleep (and a happier spouse, too).
Fun Fact Co. Anime Character Menagerie Print
Price - $39 - $68
If you’re a fan of Studio Ghibli, you’ll appreciate this super neat Ghibli character collection art print from Fun Fact Co. It features 25 illustrations of non-human characters from the beloved anime studio’s various movies, including favorites like Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and plenty more. I’m particularly fond of seeing some love for The Cat Returns here.
You can order this art print in 12x18, 18x24, or 24x36, with prices varying between the three, of course. If you want to skip the framing process, you can get it framed for an additional cost, but I personally think you’re best off grabbing your own frame at a local store. Either way, though, this nifty print is a charming addition to the home of any anime lover.
It’s also worth noting that all profits made on this print go to Young Storytellers, a non-profit that guides and empowers young people who have amazing stories just waiting to be told.
