Black Ops 6 Will Not Have A Platinum Trophy On PS5 But Has One On PS4

History may be repeating itself once again. Similar to last years Call of Duty Entry, MW3, which also did not have a platinum trophy on PS5 but did on the PS4, Black Ops 6 will follow the pattern once more.

According to Powerpyx who is an authority in the achievement hunting/trophy world, they have confirmed that Black Ops 6 acts as a DLC for Modern Warfare 2 on the PS5 and on the PS4 will be a separate game.

While the trophy list is your standard Call of Duty affair and you can grind out the platinum on the PS4, it is still annoying that players can’t get the platinum on the PS5 version.

Hopefully Activision finds a way to bring platinum trophies back into the cycle.
