The hit board game Blood Rage will have a digital edition launching on May 27th. The Viking strategy game from Eric Lang is being developed by Exozet and published by Asmodee Digital, one of the leaders in digital board game adaptations.

Blood Rage: Digital Edition is available for preorder on Steam (PC and Mac).

Blood Rage was originally released by CMON, and it’s in the top 50 games of all-time on BoardGameGeek. The gameplay requires players to focus on combat and area control, gaining glory as Vikings in the end times before Ragnarök.

In the digital edition of the game, players will choose between one of the seven clans: the Wolf, Bear, Serpent, Raven, Ram, Wild Boar, and Stag. Each one is unique, with units, leaders, and resources that demand tactical expertise. Draft cards, raid other territories, complete quests, and upgrade your units. It’s a competitive experience, and the original world has been transported to a virtual one with high-res photogrammetry, so you’ll feel like you’re playing the tabletop game.

This is a game of war. And only the courageous will be able to earn enough Glory by the end.

The multi-layered strategy game will feature solo play against AI opponents, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer with competitive play.
