Earlier today, Microsoft gave us a taste of the opening cinematic for Halo 5: Guardians, featuring Master Chief's new elite corp of Spartans, the Blue Team. We get a glimpse at the turmoil that Chief is facing in the new campaign and a sense of his team's dedication both to the mission at hand and to their leader. All I can say is that Halo 5: Guardians looks like it's shaping up to be one hell of a game. That's especially good news for Microsoft considering how poorly received the Halo: Master Chief Collection was. Personally, I haven't played a Halo game since Halo 2, but this brand new entry for the Xbox One might just convince me to hop back on the wagon. I'm excited to take Halo 5 for a real test drive next month. (And to undoubtedly get my panties rocked in the online multiplayer...)
