With the Co-Op Loot Drop event coming to an end on April 30th, Borderlands 3 players will continue to get their loot fix with the “Loot The Universe” event, coming to the game on April 23. Running for 4 weeks, Loot The Universe will spotlight one of Borderlands 3’s unique planets every week, increasing the chances that Legendary loot has to drop on them. Each zone on the planet will drop a specific Legendary weapon type, like pistols, shotguns, SMGs, etc.
Pandora will kick things off as the first planet we visit in Loot The Universe, with Promethea, Eden-6, and Nekrotafeyo to follow. A schedule for all of the planets players will visit in Loot The Universe can be found below.
Week 1 (9 AM PT April 23 to 8:59 AM PT April 30) - Pandora
Week 2 (9 AM PT April 30 to 8:59 AM PT May 7) - Promethea
Week 3 (9 AM PT May 7 to 8:59 AM PT May 14) - Eden-6
Week 4 (9 AM PT May 14 to 8:59 AM PT May 21) - Nekrotafeyo
Also arriving tomorrow alongside “Loot The Universe” and the “Revenge of the Cartels” seasonal event is the Mayhem Mode 2.0 update. Players no longer need to visit Sanctuary III every time they want to change their Mayhem level, as they will be able to do it from their ECHO Device. The update changes the maximum Mayhem level from 4 to 10, and will also introduce 25 brand new modifiers that players can apply to their game, each with their own difficulty rating of Easy, Medium, Hard, and Very Hard. The modifiers are randomly chosen by the game, but the number and difficulty of the selected modifiers is always the same for each Mayhem level.
To recap: Loot The Universe starts tomorrow (April 23rd) alongside the Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event (April 23rd - June 4th), and the Mayhem Mode 2.0 rework, and is available in Borderlands 3 until May 21st.
