Universal Studios Hollywood is revving its engines for one of the park’s most exciting additions yet. Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the destination’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster, is set to open this summer (unfortunately won’t be open for Fan Fest Nights)—and the newly revealed ride vehicles are already making this attraction look like a dream come true for fans of the franchise.
The park has revealed the remaining three cars joining the previously announced Dodge Charger, completing the lineup of vehicles guests will ride in. Alongside Dominic Toretto’s legendary Charger, the coaster trains will also feature Han’s Mazda RX-7, Brian O’Conner’s Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the unforgettable Toyota Supra—some of the most iconic cars in the Fast & Furious franchise.
Honestly, the cars look freaking amazing. Universal didn’t just throw together generic coaster trains—these vehicles look like they were pulled straight from the streets of Los Angeles. I was especially excited to see Brian’s blue Nissan Skyline GT-R included since it’s my favorite car in the entire franchise.
Personally, I’m incredibly excited to ride this when it opens. This feels like a much-needed thrill ride for adrenaline junkies visiting Universal Studios Hollywood this summer.
