After Roxley Games announced their new kickstarter campaign for Dice Throne: X-Men to a split response of people (like me) that were excited to see the new collab and others being upset by the mere mention of super heroes. They have given us the reveal of four of the probable eight that we will recieve and we still have yet to see what Dice Throne: Missions are, though it will likely be a Marvel themed Dice Throne Adventures.
With two reveal trailers we get a peak at the art work which is done exactly how I would want and expect an X-Men collab. We get a pan over of the board and some visualizations of some of the abilities. The four characters revealed so far were: Wolverine (of course), Psylocke, Storm, and Iceman. Three out of the four I could have predicted. Psylocke is a welcomed surprise as she is an X-Men not seen very often. On the other hand Wolverine would have been an insult not to add, and they’re giving us artwork of the classic yellow and brown suit which is an unexpected visualization.
For the four that have been revealed so far, I’m excited to see the second half and hopefully the Dice Throne: Missions soon. I’m crossing my fingers for Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Colossus. For the missions I hope we get to see some Marvel and X-Men baddies like Thanos and Apocalypse.
