In a very short five hours of being live, Call of Duty: The Board Game surpassed it’s goal of $75,000 table top game publisher Arcane Wonders announced additional content and backer rewards for its new strategy game series inspired by the video game. They revealed two new maps that will both come in the collectors edition box for a total of four maps or one each in the red and blue box each coming with 2 maps.
As a thank you to those who helped back the kickstarter campaign at the $49 tier or above prior to the campaign’s end on August 22nd, Arcane Wonders announced that they will ship a promo box at no additional cost. The contents of the box will include:
The addition of Russel Adler as a bonus operator
A completely original map called Desert Ruins
Upgraded plastic plotting markers
Six 3D plastic cover markers to raise Operator defenses and unlock additional abilities
Six 3D plastic wound markers to mark Operators who are recovering their health
The contents in the promo box will all be available for purchase seperately at retail for non-backers. Call of Duty: The Board Game after a very successful kickstart campaign is planned to release sometime in 2024.
