ReedPop and Penny Arcade have officially unveiled the first wave of programming for PAX West 2025, the West Coast’s premier gaming event, taking place August 29th through September 1st at the Seattle Convention Center.
One of the biggest highlights comes courtesy of Capcom, who will host a major panel on Sunday, August 31st. During the panel Capcom will show off titles like Resident Evil, Pragmata, Onimusha, and Monster Hunter. Fans can expect a celebration of iconic franchises and exciting new reveals from one of the industry's most legendary developers.
In addition to panels and previews, PAX West’s concert stage is tuning up for a weekend of video game music. The festivities kick off Friday, August 29th, with a double headliner performance featuring the return of nerdcore rap pioneer MC Frontalot and the electric energy of Bit Brigade, performing a live speedrun and rock cover of the Mega Man X soundtrack.
Then on Sunday night, fans can experience the PAX West debut of Dom Palombi's Game Night, a high-energy tribute to classic and modern video game music that promises to send audiences on a nostalgia-fueled journey through time.
PAX West is also still accepting panel and content submissions for the official schedule. Interested creators, developers, and community members have until Friday, June 20th at 5:00 PM PT to submit their proposals.
